Speech, Language and Feeding Therapy

Fangman Therapy specializes in a variety of areas including:

Feeding Therapy- Feeding therapy aims to improve feeding skills, expand food acceptance and variety, and create positive mealtime experiences. It provides support for individuals and their families to develop healthier feeding habits and promote overall nutritional well-being. Consulting with a qualified professional with expertise in sensory feeding therapy is important to ensure appropriate assessment, intervention, and ongoing support.

Articulation Therapy- Articulation therapy is a type of speech therapy that focuses on improving the ability to produce speech sounds correctly and accurately. It is commonly used to treat individuals, especially children, who have difficulties with articulation, pronunciation, or speech sound disorders.

Executive Functioning- Executive functioning refers to a set of cognitive processes and skills that are crucial for goal-directed behavior, self-regulation, and the ability to plan, organize, and manage tasks effectively. It involves the coordination of various mental processes to achieve desired outcomes and adapt to changing circumstances. Executive functioning skills are essential for academic success, daily functioning, and overall life skills.

Language Therapy- Language therapy, also known as speech-language therapy or language intervention, is a specialized form of therapy aimed at improving communication skills and addressing language disorders or difficulties. It is provided by speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and focuses on enhancing various aspects of language, including comprehension, expression, vocabulary, grammar, and pragmatics (social use of language).

Social Language- Social language therapy, also known as social communication therapy or pragmatics therapy, is a specialized approach in speech and language therapy that focuses on improving an individual's social communication skills. It aims to help individuals develop effective verbal and nonverbal communication, understand social rules and expectations, and navigate social interactions successfully.
